Over time, the outer wall erodes and the hardened magma remains, creating an interesting phenomenon.
The Gros Piton rises out of the earth to a height of 771m, and the Petit Piton is close behind it at 743m. Sulphur and hot mud pools are located nearby, evidence of the region’s volcanic activity. St Lucia Botanical Gardens
Located within the same area as the other volcanic sites, is the St Lucia Botanical Gardens. You can stroll through this tropical paradise and admire the unique beauty of the region’s flora. The Diamond waterfall is also located here, a beautiful fountain made up of healing mineral water.
